History of CORP

Each participating CORP agency formed a core work group of service users, administrators and staff which meets regularly to plan the steps needed to move toward recovery-focused service. First, each agency surveyed service users, staff and administrators to learn how each group viewed their agency’s recovery-related attitudes and services and administration. After receiving their survey results, each agency designed an individual action plan to begin incorporating recovery into every aspect of their services. At the CORP meetings, each agency regularly reports progress in achieving their recovery goals outlined in their individual action plan.

Together, the six agencies designed an overall work plan that includes training in recovery-centered practices provided by AHCI for the CORP Agencies.
